alrededor de una hora,agregando leche si fuera necesario. Sabemos que esta listo cuando tiene la consistencia de una crema espesa
y textura suave. Se pasa a una fuente para horno poniendo una capa de queso blando en medio. Se calienta en el horno para servir. Segun la region, se rocia azucar en el plato. Creo que no me olvido de nada

1/2 lb. Flour
1 large teaspoonful baking powder
Pinch of salt
Buttermilk
1 tablespoonful sugar
A nut of margarine
1 egg
Sifted sugar
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar very lightly and rub in the fat. Make a hole
in the centre, drop in the beaten egg and as much buttermilk as will make a stiff dough.
Drop a teaspoonful into a saucepan of boiling fat, cook for 5 minutes to a nice brown, drain on paper, and sprinkle with sifted sugar.

1 lb. Flour
1/4 lb. Butter
1/2 lb. Treacle
2 tablespoonfuls sugar
1/2 teaspoonful bicarbonate of soda
2 eggs
1 teaspoonful cream of tartar
2 teaspoonfuls ground ginger
A little cinnamon.
Mix up the ingredients, melt the treacle and butter and add, then mix in the eggs, well beaten. Bake in a moderate oven.
